Things are different here. I am a painter of stylized landscapes that blend our natural world with a touch of the surreal. I seek to make places that create space to breathe, connect with our natural world, and pull you into the fog. You will see a specialty has formed within my growing Miniatures Series- as I strive to master the making of the largest impact with the most intricate details, on the smallest canvas.
Here I have gathered all of my original Works and Worlds of all sizes to share with you- each designed to transport you slightly somewhere else. From the chill of the mist that flows from my grayscapes, to the enchanting glow of my golden woods I have created an array of worlds at your fingertips. This is the newest style of paintings to break away from my signature grayscale forests. These include not just color, but the actual shine from metallic acrylic paints into a new set of worlds. Creating these felt like wielding light itself with a paintbrush -and it molds an entirely new atmosphere of warmth and home of its own. These gilded forests are the absolute definition of comfort as the richness of their color come to life at your fingertips. FAQs
Do I accept commissions, and if not, when?
This is probably my most asked question, and I am no longer accepting any commission applications at the moment. I have in the past, but have decided with my full chest- to stop it. This is due to my work outside of art. I currently have a very full-time job that unfortunately absorbs a lot of my time, but is very necessary for the bills of life. If there were to ever come an unlikely time where I was not reliant on this primary income source and could create art full time- I would absolutely reconsider. Under the current circumstances, still a no.
Do I ship internationally?
Nope! Not yet. For the moment I’ve kept things simple as I’ve started this business I will be keeping things within the United States.
How do I configure my pricing?
All of my pricing is based on a combination of several things- the main factor being pure time and effort. I honestly don’t even factor in supplies- especially with Miniatures it comes down to purely how much EFFORT did that piece take? If it happened a couple of hours quicker than a previous painting I think it should be reflected in the price- at the same time if I improve my craft and get faster over the years I should not be punished and make less. In the end, these are luxury items crafted by someone’s hands and sparing free-time. The cost is what it takes to part the artist from that element of themselves. What is that worth to you?
Will I be doing prints?
Yes! At some point- hopefully sooner than later. I am constantly torn between attempting a print-on-demand service or doing limited Metallic prints myself and I have not yet made up my mind. Baby steps. The number one focus for me will ALWAYS be original art- but I do want another way to make my original images more affordable and accessible.
Will I be selling larger paintings?
Absolutely! I have several in the works- as many of you from social media may know. Every single Work in Progress will be destined for this Shop! I create for the purpose of transporting you somewhere else, whether it be through an image online or the original painting in your hands, but they will all be available at some point! “A wizard is never late… he arrives precisely when he means to.”
